Sanka Gallage is a renowned photographer who is providing professional photography services in Sri Lanka and has made a mark in the industry as a dynamic and innovative photographer. Fuelling his interest in photography from his school days, Sanka accounts for almost 30 years of experience as a professional photographer.

Sanka’s photography experience spans from his photo journalism days at the Aththa newspapers and Divaina newspaper, to coverage of wedding, cover photos, fashion photos and commercial and event photography since 1989.

With a keen eye for detail and an extraordinary ability to capture natural moments and movements, his photographs aim to bring out the smile in every one he photographs. “Most people don’t like to take photos because they think they look bad in photos. My aim is to take at least one great photo of as many people as I could so that all would have at least one photo they can be happy about,” Sanka said explaining his photograph philosophy.
